- Not only is this baby sea turtle the most adorable thing ever, but can you believe that it is made entirely of pressed plants? UK based artist Helen Ahpornsiri has a whole collection of animal illustrations made from tiny bits of ferns and other foraged plants. See more of her delicate work on her website and Instagram.

- I saw @kwaya.art’s work on Instagram a while ago, and had a head explosion moment (in the very best way) when I realized that she was woodburning designs on paper! I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I was so inspired by her technique. Have a look for yourself here.

- You know I’m all about some painted leaves, so I was very excited to find the work of Sophie Parker from WIFE botanical studio in Brooklyn. See more of her sculptural botanicals on her website and Instagram.

- I’ve seen some of Michelle Robinson’s work being shared around Instagram recently and I absolutely love her style! Her combinations of acrylic and gold leaf on cotton paper and canvas are so striking. See more of her work on her website and Instagram.

- The Nesting Series was not my first encounter with artist Natalie Ciccoricco’s work, but it is by far my favorite. Her work is a very unique combination of embroidery thread and other materials, and usually incorporates elements of nature. Go have a look at more of her beautiful pieces on her website!
